I have lived in Florida for 16 years and currently reside in Lighthouse Point with my husband of 28 years. We have 1 daughter, 4 sons, and 3 grandchildren. All our children are grown, starting their own careers, some with families of their own. My husband and I have recently become empty nesters and truly treasure this time together sharing our hobbies of golf, fishing, gardening, home renovations, and cooking. We loved raising our children, but now finding ourselves enjoying them all the more as adults, celebrating the wonderful person each of them became. We attend Calvary Chapel of Ft Lauderdale. In 2006 I participated in Calvary's medical relief team that was sent to India after the 2005 Tsunami, and look forward to taking part in more medical mission trips.
I reside in Parkland with Elsa my golden retriever puppy. I recently have become an empty nester as my 3 wonderful sons have entered into their careers and college. I am currently a member of the Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church where I taught Faith Formation classes for 5 years and now I am a member of the church choir.
In 1996, I moved to South Florida with my husband, 2 young sons, and our dog, Katie . Although much different than New York City where I grew up, I have grown to love and enjoy living in this area where I am able to enjoy the outdoors 365 days a year. Initially, I enjoyed it by encouraging my boys to participate in athletics—tennis, cross country running, volleyball, and lacrosse. As they grew older and more independent (which I feel is an important accomplishment for a parent to encourage) I found that I had a passion for the same sports they participated in. I played team tennis for a number of years. And then, when my boys were at their team practices, I found I could bring my running shoes and go for a run. My husband was the first cyclist in the family and we now cycle together.
Please welcome Dr. Blanco who just relocated from New York. She has been in practice for over 10 years and we could not be any more delighted to have her join our practice.
